I slept from 5.30pm to 5.30 am.
I didn't manage to wake up at 9pm as I was supposed to.

I truly admire her undying faith.
Sometimes I wished that I could be the one standing by her, comforting her, I knew something wasn't right beneath her smiles. I wished we were closer. I envy others. I don't know what I can do for her but wish her well. She carries a thousand and one burdens, but I can't do anything to lighten them for her. She still dotes on me, I wish I could do something for her as well. I regret not giving her a well birthday, she needed that extra bit of love. I wish I could hug her tight and with my loudest voice ever, tell her how much I care for her, how much I love her. I'll tell her, I will, that I love her, as much as she loves god.

But this time round, don't look too far away, just search through what's near you, around you and within your reach and you'll notice its prescence. They're near, simply because they're always there for you.
Life hasn't been smooth-sailing recently, but I've realised a lot. It's truly a blessing in disguise.

Today was traumatizing yet even more amusing day. On top of that, I had an extreme affinity with dead bugs.
There was a dead fly on my chem text.
There was a dead moth under the table at the coffeeshop. I saw if after the dead fly got sweeped to the ground.
So I just continued to stare at this really adorable baby sitting diagonally opposite me. It's much better than staring at those bugs, no?
Vidya commented someone's English was good. Trauma.
I heard someone let out high-pitched laughters. Double trauma.
I saw some nasi lemak flying out of someone's mouth. Amusement.
I saw some guy holding his breath to keep the tissue there. double amusement.
Someone related breaking joints of chicken wings to physics. Triple amusement.

The school's Chinese Language Department insists that we do some article about Singapore's wonderful relationship with Malaysia and the latter's with Iraq. Please, I'm not that ready to go so far into thinking about such friendships yet.
Only managed to catch two hours of sleep yesterday evening. It was one night of mugging without any caffine support. Painful. It paid off [or at least I thought it did since I THINK I knew how to tackle the questions], although I felt that most of the work done was during lunchtime when I was ranting off to/with Siian. New tactic found.
Friendship. Hmm. Interesting topic.
What's a true friend? One who doesn't lie, one who trusts you, listens to you, is by your side when you need them? Or one who lies for your own good? Are there really best friends in this world? People come and go. Friendships, like all relationships, form and break. Is it better to treasure this friendship and never let go, or simply move on?
I can never define a friend. But I know that it's there when it's there. Wonderful friends surround me and that's all I am thankful for. My dear ones, the ones standing by me when I need support, those who study through the night with me [pweh], those who offer to bring me mocha [haha], those who are there to give me a big beary hug when I cry, those who lend me a shoulder to lie on when I'm tired, those who help me do some stuff when I can't cope, big or small, these are acts of friendship that I truly appreciate..
And I thank all of you for that.
Throbbing headache. Argh.

I shall ignore my horrific day. I can't do anything about it, so i shall move on.
I want this year to past very very quickly.
So that O levels will be over extremely soon.
So that I do not have to see people like ** who don't do their flyers.
So that a true, blue holiday will be in front of me.
So that I can spend my weekends not mugging for two months.
So that I can go out and play with my friends.
So that I can stay up late at night for matches.
So that I can stay up late on the computer.
So that I do not need to travel to Clementi for school ever again.
So that I do not need to tie my hair up in two plaits/ponytails/pigtails.
So that I do not need to face horrible teachers like Lyesim again.
So that christmas will be here again.

Always thought faith was the crux of everything we do.
We need the faith that we can do it till the end.
We need the faith that what we're doing is worth it.
We need the faith to make whatever we're doing meaningful.
Between friends, we need the mutual faith and trust, to believe each other.
Between couples, we need the mutual faith for each other, to keep the trust and love going on. Without faith, insecurities set in.
Without faith, doubts set in.
Without faith, our mind begin to falter endlessly.
Then again, what is faith?
Does it come with commitment?
Or is it the other way round?
Another asks, what is commitment?
Is it faith?

How mind boggling.
Those three words,
are said too much

Those three words, how often do you say to your loved ones?
It's the scarcity of it that makes it so special.
But the lack of it brings in insecurity.
