So here I am, back from a day at Swami home, once again. Guess what I did today? I fried some pancake like things food for teatime! Hawhaw. Therefore I am feeling extremely accomplished at this point in time. I can cook! Unlike some people who can only cook instant noodles. *glares at dawn* (You shall pretend you didn't see that okay? Shhhhh...) I MANAGED TO TRAUMATIZE DAWN!! heehaw. Anyway, there was a talk on HIV and AIDS and a lot of the stuff kept thinking I was 1. My mom's sister 2. My mom's friend 3. A new volunteer despite the fact that they have seen me a year before and they all can't recognize me any longer. =[ But it's okay, the elderlys remember me! (Wait. How ironic is this. Speaking of which they are dementia elderlys.*tsk tsk tsk* So the president of the home, Mr Pek, told my mom: Tell you friend to join us in the talk too. Mom: She's my daughter. Mr Pek: O.O
Then there was this other nurse who asked me what school I was from so I told her Nanhua. "Nanwa?" "Nanhua." "Nangua?" "Nanhua." "Oh. Nanhua." See the flipside of being in a Cheeeeeena school? Only chinese can pronouce that godamn cheena name it has.
Mom: understand? Nurse wasugee (I have totally no idea how to spell her name): No, my under never stand. Dirty Fellows. Then there's this Burmese nurse who couldn't catch the joke and we had to explain to her. Quite amusing. XD Anyway, I still enjoy being there although I just follow my mom around most of the time and speak to some elderlys with my cmi hokkein and make them look even more perplexed than usual. I want to go on Saturdays more often because that's when the official Swami Angels volunteer work take place. But everything's clashing. Open house, SBMY, tuition..... Sometimes I wish I was a monkey so I can have a chance of being Sun Wu Kong. Not bad ehs? I bet he's the best multi-tasker in the world.
I'm badly in love with the song, "The Tide is High". It's a nice song. duh. I had a real good time@4:32 PM
