Let's Take A Walk!
HAHA! I'm home from the walk and I'm feeling extremely accomplished although it's extremely tiring and painful. However, I swear I'll never ever do this to myself ever again and I'll sit there as the station master, applauding the walkers approaching the station.
Our group started out with 14 members and by the time we reached the 50km checkpoint, only 5 of us were continuing with the walk. However, the rest of the team would buy coffee, food, (and once drove us to cut short by 6km so we could eat breakfast) and accompanied us till morning. They're indeed a group of supporting team members whom I'll never forget.
Another great accomplishment was that by walking, we were faster than the team made up of OCS guys. I feel so honoured. Everyone thought Lyn and I were poly students and that we were from sports CCAs. When we told them both of us were from performing arts, they were like *jawdrop*.
OH YES! I MUST NOT FORGET TO THANK THE SNAILS! What made me pull through the torturous night was that I was walking with my head down, careful not to step on snails and they diverted my attention so much so that night passed in the wink of an eye.

In any case, this walk of 100km was a good test of determination as well as patience and reflects the importance of support from team mates. Along the way, Micheal, Collin and Adala were playing motivational roles by encouraging us all the way (although they got pissed off at a point in time and began to hurl a string of vulgarities upon each step they take. But honestly, it was highly amusing).

So for now I shall stay home and recover from the muscle aches that are...URGH. But it's very worth it. I learnt that I could, in fact, push my limit further and I can do better in other aspects too. Anyway, mama has been showering me with tender loving care along the way and gave me a big, warm hug when i finally reached SWAMI home, which marked the completion of the 100kn walk.

I AM HAPPY!

I had a real good time @ 7:55 PM
