The Race!!!

today, leungyan, xunwei, renu and i went for the race, what race? THE RACE [ i am not trying to be stupid, it IS callaed THE RACE]so we met and crapped pretty much, and we saw Jeffery!!! the race was flagged off but we got the East side, of which the first stop was Geyland East Community library. Guess who was the station master? Serena! So we acted this really symbolic drama. It was so cool la! Then we had to look for two books: one on malay religion another on indian religion. guess how long it took for us to find the two books? 1 minute and 26 seconds! then we ran to the mrt and headed for bedok. the clue was tough but thanks to longan we managed to solve it!then renu spent 50cents to donate to the person to ask for directions WHO GAVE WRONG DIRECTIONS. next was the pasir ris stop in which we had to do that stupid cooking demostration and it was..lame...leungyan went : you have to stir the gelatine powder in the water till it dissolves...[after a few stirring actions, tilts bowl] see? it's dissolved.

so we reached tampines....know what happened? we reached there at 11.50 am when the normal estimated time for us to reach was......

2.30pm

so we went to eat at the s21 coffee shop. had nice nasi lemak. going back to the library to slack a little and await the video conferencing. so longan and i..

SLEPT!
well was so tired la...so sleep!! and thank you renu for you HOT PINK panadol pills. i needed them desperately. XD
the video conferencing was so fun lo! keke.
and we won the best resourseful team among the 15-20 schools because we only took 1min 26 secs to find TWO books [which were almost beside each other acually so it was pretty much of luck and 'cos serena was there!]and also because leung yan practically memorised the DDC.
what's the prize? i am glad we got this prize, because other prizes only consisted of either the buffet or the printer, while this has got both!
-A Lexmark P915 photo printer with a 2.5 inches LCD screen for previewing pictures as well as photobridge connectivity for direct printing without the use of PC worth two hundred and ninety nine bucks
-A complimentary dinner at Cafe Vic, Carlton Hotel

People, let's go to the buffet together!!!
the whole competition ended and the bookmark is so nice lo! because we got the best speakers!
we went to funan mall to celebrate! had pastamania[of which leungyan ate loads of cheese and went cheesy] and went to the food court to drink and discussed...the talk was like.... one and a half hours? around there.
I HAD SUCH GREAT FUN!
and thanks to longan, xunwei and renu for the nice time with all the crap, jokes. haha....
suddenly i love drama.
i hope we get better resources to improve.
because microphones are really limiting us
but whatever it is, i look forward to a better Drama club.
